For Virginia Credit Union, we led the development effort for migrating their online loan applications from ASP.NET WebForms to ASP.NET MVC with jQuery, utilizing Twitter’s Bootstrap framework for supporting multiple device formats. We also designed and developed real-time fraud risk assessment applications that integrated multiple data sources from across the enterprise to determine risk levels for credit union members interacting with contact center representatives.

What WAS COOL ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Simply put, Virginia Credit Union’s development shop is made up of great people. We enjoyed being a part of their efforts to support mobile device applications and how that would come together. There were some interesting architectural challenges we overcame using earlier versions of MVC and how to use the same steps of the application wizard across various types of applications while also keeping the ability to customize each type of loan application. It was a huge win that improved loan application submission success by over 40%.
